Speed Watch

Today, between the hours of 10:00 - 11:00hrs I conducted Speed Watch duties in the area of High Street, St Margarets. During this time, I observed and recorded a total of 111 passing vehicles entering/exiting the village, with 9 of those being driven in excess of the speed limit (equating to approx. 8% of all vehicles entering that area). Sadly many of the speeding vehicles were observed being driven up to speeds of 38mph (nearly 100% above the village speed limit).
